The World Cup returns to Fort William for the 8th year in 2009, with a focus on the "gravity" events (DHI and 4X) and some new innovations to keep it at the forefront of the international mountain bike scene.
Nice shot Mick - The riders made that rocky section look a doddle, but it looks a lot fiercer from this angle. I've recorded the TV footage - might have a look back to see if I can spot you lot again!
A top weekend at fort bill. The racing was great, the weather came good and the atmosphere was excellent as usual. Plenty of NEFA and NE lot there to make it a cracking weekend. Some of the NEFA lot even managed a snowball fight in 6ft of snow!!!
Shame there was no TV coverage of the wooded sections Dave F as the lines the top guys were taking through the woods were just crazy.
Roll on next year.
Oh, and the new red DH run looks like loads of fun :-)
Watched on TV yesterday - Where does Sam Hill find the speed? He doesn't look to far ahead and then turns up nearly 6 seconds ahead? Just when youthink no-one can beat him Greg goes faster! Could not believe it!
Looked hard but couldn't see any NEFA shirts - must've all been in the beer tent? Only one bad thing with the TV coverage was there was no camera in the woods - so around 3 minutes of every run was missed.
Just back from Fort Bill.Yet another cracking day out with the NEFA massive and we were out in force.
The weather was great unlike the f*****g midgies.Little b*****s were eatin me alive.
Its such a great event to go to.What other sport would you find yourself stood next to the worlds best waiting to buy there own coffee from the venders and then spare you the time of day for a quick chat?
