Mark, Nigel & I had a couple of days down in the dales Mon / Tue this week.
First day we rode the classic "Scar House Reservoir" ride which was brilliant, apart from a flurry of punctures in the last few miles of the ride. Two British venues for top level mountain bike competition in 2010
Just hours after securing the UCI BMX World Championships in 2012, British Cycling received the news that two rounds of the 2010 UCI Mountain Bike World Cup will be held in Britain.
Dalby Forest in North Yorkshire will hold the opening round of the World Cup in the cross country discipline on 24 - 25 April and Fort William in Scotland will, once again, hold the downhill and four cross round on 5 - 6 June.

I have been in talks with Stockton Council about the improvements in the Norton Recreational ground in Stockton-on-Tees. One of the ideas submitted by myself was for a BMX track. I have been given the go ahead however I need to show there is interest in the area for a BMX track.

Had a ride in the North York Moors today, and came across the DH track at Carlton Bank so took the chance for a few runs down it. Really nice bit of trail, and lots of other nice riding in the area.
