Andy Dirt School

Went up to Glentress on Friday with the wife so I thought I'd just be having a laugh on the blue route with her then possibly a quick blast on the red on my own. How wrong I was: she'd booked me on to the XC course that Dirt School run as an early birthday present. I can't recommend it highly enough: I learnt more about bike handling in that day than I did in the previous 10 years. The guy taking the class (Andy Barlow) is a national XC champion and has done the black route at Glenners in 1 hour… Continue

Matt Easter Weekend Madness

3 rides over the easter Weekend.. On Thursday I went to Dalby forests with a couple of riding friends. It was nice to get around a somewhat quiet dalby as usually its fairly busy with riders. We made the most of the dry, fast conditions getting around the red route in under 3hours. Which i was fairly pleased with since my bike isnt the lightest XC bike! We stopped off at Dixons hallow for a play on the jump track and the Northshore style decking, although I really need to practice jumping/table… Continue
