Having been a member of NEFA fromthe beginning and gone through all the fights in Chopwell.I can only sympathise with your plight. You could build a Whistler style bike park and there would still be a small faction of riders who would want somethin...

Like i said, tag along during the week n ya'll get all the info ya'll need cos the lads will be able to fill ya in. Also keep an eye out for ERFD (epic rides for dummies). These are away day group rides for all abilities on trails all around the nor...

Keep an eye on the forum cos there are usualy some of the lads from NEFA who are based in Chopwell who do mid week night rides from the carpark.Meet about 6ish and stay as long as you want.Easiest way to find out where the trails are and the rides...

Mick that must take some skill..........to take a photo of yourself .Sweet. Hope ya taught the kiddies a thing or 3.

Ride to work scheme.

Hi,can anybody shed some light on the "Ride to work scheme"?
Don't realy know that much about it,but it looks like this could be the only way i'm gonna get a new ride this year.Lack of funds/recession etc.

Also, can anyone comment on the new Boardman full suss?At £800 it looks like a potential ride being as i'm gonna stick to trail riding.Gotta be sensible with the back,as i'm a family man these days.
Thanks in advance.
Boney.

Cheers for the directions to those trails at chopwell. I've been down that end quite a few times to ride that drop with a right bend then over the stream at the bottom and never thought there was anything else further on. Had a good explore today. Cheers.

yeah that track looks like lots of fun, Ae forest is a real hoot but it's one of them routes where you need something light on the way out and something a bit more meaty on the way back, that said if i go i'll just be playing on the shredder and the DH cos i'd be too knackered to have any fun after the loop.

Boney i've got a set of V8's that i don't use, you could borrow them. Not in perfect nick but they've got loads of grip still, just the bearings have a very small amount of play in 1 of them but you can't tell when your riding, i can bring them on thurday too if you want,

Yeah, we need to get up to the woods at some time and do some tidying up and a bit of new trail after the loggers have destroyed a section.
