Photo Session - Hamsterley at Hamsterley Forest

I would imagine it is very different to the the usual French Alpine resorts. I did the Maritime Alps in Italy a couple of years ago, which is a similar sort of thing. Some of the nicest trails i have ever ridden, with only vehicle uplifts or pedal...
Glad you enjoyed it. Proper "mountain" biking can be a bit of a shock to the system, but it does get you hooked :-)
No probs mate, was a good blast. Me and Jim only have one speed, we try and ride everything flat out!

- Nice one. My mate Rich was there about the same time but didn't stay long enough to ride (crazy!). I knocked my finger off a week back, but I'm hoping it'll be OK for us to go to Spain at the beginning of next month!
