Hi yes i was in edinburgh today looking at the marins, they look a really good bike.
Do Edinburgh cycles stock Marin? I had a look on the web and it didnt show them as a dealer. If they do then thats much easier for me as i work in Newcastle anyway so not too much of a trip to get over there.
Also Iron Horse Cyclery in Darlington and Edinburgh Bicycle Co-operative in Newcastle

ha ha, i remember that day. he must have done that about six times in a row!
Yer on the rear. apart from the wheel and rotor there was only cosmetic damage, didnt even bend the swingarm.
Not done it myself but have heard good things. Some of the guys from NEFA have ridden it.

Front wheel off is the scariest thing i reckon although i think by the high pitched noise he made when it happened he was scared enough, the rest of us thought it was pretty funny (not very nice i know but if you cant laugh at your mates.....)

I have drove the past 2 years and am again this year. It's not really that bad and it enables you to take a lot more gear and spares than you could if you were flying.

remember that little jump, partly cos it was good fun and partly cos my mates wheel dropped out as he left the ground, one mangled rotor and some popped spokes was the result.
