Usually do the old XC loop up toward Thrunton crag to the pond and along to the cairn, back toward the stream below Coe Crag (or up onto it if the weather is kind) before heading into the woods onto the man made stuff for a few hours. Some of them...

I'm running a P7 Cree on the bars now with a pair of NiteRider Mi-newts angled to the sides for extra fill and a Cree P7 on my helmet. Absolutely brilliant combo for nightrides. When you up Thrunton next Merv?

Bothal is pretty muddy all year round as it gets little sun. Its OK for a quick blast but there are too many steps and it kinda ruins your flow. There is some better riding to be had the other side of Morpeth towards Mitford.

A few of us guys from the Morpeth area are now doing regular Tuesday night rides again. We usually meet around 7:30 and ride for a few hours and then go for a few pints in Longframlington afterwards. Anyone want to come along?
