Cheers chaps. What a gorgeous day we had. Did everyone have fun floating home? I had to take a detour, as the coppers had the A68 blocked at Castleside. Oh what fun!

Cool. Anyone know the conditions of the DH course? Presumably it's fine. Wouldn't of thought it would be unridable due to the rain...

What about the downhill sections? Do you guys ride downhill?
November 27
Oooh. Weather looking iffy at the mo. Plenty time for it to change though...

Cheers Chris. That's looks ace. Love that last bit on the longer vid, where it looks like the trail is cut into the ground. Very cool.

Ah, maybe not. Quite jumpy...

Cool. It's only downhillers that I've talked to about it, and I think I'd got it in my head that it's a predominantly downhill trail, but it's actually XC isn't it? I'll look up the pics...

KTR/The Bike Place Marathon Series 2008

The next race in the KTR/The Bike Place Marathon Series 2008 is the Border Raid on 17th May.

This is a 50km route which will take you through the lower sections of the Deadwater Trail at Kielder, before heading South West to the Scottish Border. Arriving at the 7 Stanes trail centre at Newcastleton, it will take you down the 'Hidden Valley', before winding its way back to Kielder, via a mix of forest road and some great singletrack.

All the info can be found on the Kielder Trail Reavers websit… Continue

Ok No problem, I just need to get some software sorted for my helmet cam...then will be set. I have quite a bit of film not shown because of this hitch but will get it ironed out soon.
I'll give you a shout when we are up there, so can sort something out ok.
