Very well done mate, both on win and in selecting a top bike. I've just got back on my bike after damaging my ribs at the northallerton cyclocross race in september. i'm gutted that the muddy browns wednesdays are no longer on. I will work on my fit…
After seeing the results mate. it seems you did well on your mtb at hetton on sunday mate, dave as well , it looked a fast course and this obviously favoured the cross bikes.
I'm gutted about my ribs, i can just sit and watch whilst everyone else ge…
gutted about stocksfield. This was by far the most technical course in the league last year and perfect for the mtb. been looking forward to stocksfield this year for ages. why is it canceld ?.
Hi anthony were you talking to my mate dave from crook…
well I entered and am pleased to say, completed the cx race last night. I thougholy enjoyed the experience, although it was very hard work for me from about mid way. I entered the race to guage my fitness, now at least i know where i am and will do…
could possibly be intrested in the tyres, i'm just a bit apprehensive of wether my bike, being a iron horse azure xc full sus, will be overkill, i've never seen a cyclocross race, let alone ridden in one. However, i'm keen to try and am not all that…
hello there, i'm new to the forum and old to mountain biking, that doesn't mean i'm good though!
depending on time, where you are planning on riding and the type of riding you will be doing, i would be intrested in partaking.
It's been a while, so it's about time we had another dummies ride.
Not sure where yet - open to suggestions, but get the date in your diary in the meanwhile.
Andy, you question was the same as the one i had in mind, so i'll be checking in on yours and rays input, is there a website you'd recommend for finding out about local cyclo x races coming up?
thanks. Anthony

Hi tony been trying to organise a trip to dalby on the 10th of january next year for a bit training for the winter warmer. I have put this ride on the events/rider section a few weeks ago and it is starting to get quite a bit interest with 3 allready attending and another 4 might attend. Do you fancy it. we can share a lift and split the costs if you do. It would be good to meet up with some other members from this web site and put faces to the pictures. Might cu sunday ray.
Hi tony, My shifts are 3-11 this week, 7- 3 next week then 11-7 the week after. My number is 07962177400. Thinking of going to hamsterly this sunday morning and trying the new section 13 out as everyone who has done it says its mint and probably do a loop of the red. If you have not already made plans you are welcome to join me. I am going to ask dave & chriss but they will probably be going out with their boring road club. If you have made plans no worries cu at meadowfield ray.
Hi tony. Have you and the bike recovered from richmond. Joanne said we both have a screw loose for paying £10 to do that. I think i am starting to aggree with her. When i got back i had two flat tyres. I must have let too much air out before the start and got a coupple of nips. I was quite happy with the result. 30th overall and paul oldham only lapped me once and to beat steve middleton for the first time got to be happy with that and you were only a few places behind me so well done. The lad who won easy at preston park Malcom lewis only managed 18th. So we were racing a lot of verry good riders on sunday. I dont see your name down for the kielder winter warmer yet in january. CU at meadowfield fingers crossed for better weather ray.
Still having problems with my neck. Got wrong off the doc for racing sunday so i will also give it a miss been told to rest for 2 weeks. Dave & scott is still going up to now. Might go and watch its going to be so muddy after all the rain this week might be good for the spectator. would love a go on the ripper. we will have to sort it out ray.
well done anthony you little dark horse. If only you could of kept that early blistering pace going on the the last 500 yds you had me & dave well beat. That was so unlucky your turn will come. I am looking forward to the rest of the season now with you, dave,me, and young scott from hetton hawks all at the same level. I a lot of twists and turns along the way still to happen. I see you like a bit BMX. I have put some pics up in the gallery of me and my BMX days picture quality isnt too good. CU at the next race ray.
Hi anthony just checked out the results from killingworth. Think we all done pretty well especially you. Are you doing the lightwater race. It does not sound verry technical so your ribs should hold up. Its only 18miles + a time trial lap. hope to see you there ray.
