Ladyhawke album is very good, uplifting. White Lies if you like more sombre stuff, only heard the singles.

Thanks for all the recommendations guy's, not had much chance to listen to much so far, but there is plenty there for me to be going on with. Special shout out to crash test dummy - I'm loving "cage the elephant" after a quick listen the other night.

looked at your lastfm groups and reckon you might like- (not necessarily "new")- noisettes, i am klute, the shins, chairlift, i monster, fleet foxes,red snapper, etc.
ps. my fave riding choon is RJD2's "Ghostwriter" - always makes me want to shout "yeehah"!

Defo not new but I find Leftfield and Kasabian good tunes to ride with solo.
What's the Lastfm groups? You've prob already stated that you like those artists!

The groups are on the first page of this thread. Leftfield are one of my favourites, liked kasabian but got bored of them quite quickly (I'm seeing a trend here....)
