Has the loose gravel had many victims or is my missus the first?

i have been down the track quite a few times but have nexer fell off on the gravely sections but my friends front wheel slipped to the side a couple of weeks ago but he had slic tyres

its only been there since tuesday, as part of the maintenance to the powerline. it will bed in over time, or the loose will be brushed of the top by use

oh ok i thought he was on about the power line trial as there is quite a lot of loose gravel on the berm's(were my friend took a fall)

It was where you come out of the middle section onto the forest road. The road has been repaired in the bottom of the dip and the gravel is still loose on the corner. trying to lock her forks out for the climb didn't help though.

for me it is all about the root on the climb after the 'shore, gets me every time.
i have not been to chopwell for ages, mainly due to who i was riding with never ever going, can't justify going on my own.

I often ride chopwell on my own, most Fridays and some Saturdays too. I just crank on some tunes and go for a spin about, i tend to stay off the powerline as there are far better places dotted around but it's still worth the near 40 mile round trip

i enjoy the top to bottem track behind the bome hole which leeds to the fire road and then a up hill bit which i push up and on the left hand side there is a realy steap down hill track which is brilliant in the wet but theres one corner on it and thats what gets me

arron shut the hell up about all these tracks what part off dont plab on to all your mates ofer internet dont u no get?
and the steep track as you say isnt steep and you cant even get down it with out falling on your ass
