Hi Chris thanks for the well done and if you see my legs please return them!
As for training for the c2c, you need long rides 50 - 60 miles on a fairly regular basis so your body gets used to being in the saddle spinning for long periods etc, but build up to this dont jump straight in. Once used to this try and get some good climbs in as you will encounter some corkers on the c2c. Remember to take lots of fluids and I mean lots and eat like a demon carbs etc. Go to the place of the slowest biker and if you do go off wait for the last lad and regroup. Once finished drink beer and sleep!!!
Good luck

well done steve done it two weeks ago with my wife and raised lots for cancer research. loved it just see my wife joanne finish as she is still a novice on the saddle we done it in 14hrs riding time. I am currently training to do it in one day with my mate dave on our cyclo cross bikes our aim is 10hours riding time with one stop for lunch at the top of hartside for 45mins. I have been riding for 3 yrs now and the most i have done in one go is 70mile so the nerves are starting to kick in now as its only 4 weeks away. will keep you posted on how the training is going.
