Trail building

There is a trail build this Saturday (7th Feb)at Kielder. Meeting at 09:30 for 10am start, at the clubhouse, near the castle (see http://www.kieldertrailreavers.org.uk/ for details)

The northshore corkscrew on the Black Skills Loop will be to finish, only the treads to fit - then some may be able to try it out! The approach trail will need stoning, and there's loads of other on-going stuff on Deadwater to look at.

If we have enough folk someone could do a trail check on the Deadwater Red and Black trails - so bring a bike!

Workwear, gloves, some safety boots, waterproofs, tools etc provided - just bring yourself, your enthusiasm, some food (we have kettle, microwave, sandwich toaster), and a bike - there could be a ride afterwards.

Please post if you can make it - all welcome, don't worry if you've not done anything like this before, it's not difficult (we all manage it!, and you will be shown what to do. It's your chance to put something back into mtb in the area.....

Afraid this trailbuild session is now cancelled due to the weather conditions at Kielder.
Watch this space in case there is an extra one on the 14th Feb - and failing that the next official one will be on 21st Feb.
