AUGUST FORUM RIDE. No.2
Let's get out while we've at least got it warm.
DATE.........SUNDAY 23rd AUGUST 2009
START POINT..........GRIBDALE GATE CAR PARK
START TIME............0900 hours
DISTANCE.............(To Be Confirmed) MILE very approx.
PACE..............STEADY
ROUTE............From Gribdale head up to Cooks Monument and drop down the singletrack to Mill bank Wood and onto Kildale. From Kildale climb up Park Nab and drop down to Baysdale Abbey, then climb Middle Head and cross Middle Head Top to the top of Ingleby Incline.
Descend the Incline and follow the trail around Battersby Plantation to climb Turkey Nab and cross Battersby Moor for a fast descent of the climb we did earlier down Park Nab.
Through Kildale and climb up through Bankside Farm to cross through the wood on Coates Moor for a descent and return to Gribdale Gate.
