Good race, bit gutted I snapped my chain at the bottom of the first dh bit. Finished in 2.35. Think I could have went a bit quicker and knocked another 10 mins of that time. More training for next race. Went back up on Sunday to check out other tracks and there was a good covering of snow when we got there.

Well done Ray,hell of a time.I did it in 2.59. Like Si said, the mountain rescue jeep was a sight for sore eyes, especially on the last lap.Was it only me who was tempted to jump the drainage ditch at the bottom of one of the singletrack sections?

Well done ray. I did it in 3.03 also in class A. I enjoyed it though. I looked forward to seeing the corner with the mountain rescue Land Rover on the 2nd and 3rd lap. I knew it was downhill for a while from there, the enjoyable but sketchy snowy fireroad then a lovely bit of singletrack before you started another lap.

done this yesterday, great race. 76 riders started the race good turnout. Different course to last year. More singletrack, Big climbs. I set my goal to finish top 15. so when i finished 10th overall and 6th in A class my first ever race point. 2hour 12min to say i was happy is a bit of an understatement. Bring on the border raid.

Did this today,it was excellent. The only bummer was that after paying £22 to enter,it then cost £3 to park the car!

Done this last year and the rest of the series. doiong it again cant wait. Also just talked my mate dave from crook in to doing it for the first time. Come on lets make it a record turnout and get your biking season off to a flyer. You will not regret it.
